How does the inner ear generate distortion product otoacoustic emissions?. Results from a realistic model of the human cochlea
Original language description
A nonlinear hydrodynamic cochlea model was used to analyse mechanisms for generation and propagation of distortion product otoacoustic emissions. It is shown that the emissions are propagated almost instantaneously through the fluid.
