Original language description
The paper describes the design of the simplified primary first wall (PFW) module for tokamak ITER and preliminary simulations of planned mechanical tests of the module. As a result of FEM simulations, cost-saving relatively thin shield block mock-up withadditional fixation was proposed, studs with higher diameter were suggested to prevent the loss of the contact between the panel keys and shield block key-ways, and the improvement of the loading system inducing the poloidal moment was recommended.
