Nitrogen capillary discharge emission in 1.9 - 2.5 nm wavelength range
Original language description
Pinching capillary discharge in nitrogen is investigated for the purpose of development of laser recombination pumping. Time dependences of radiation intensities emitted in the wavelength region 1.9 - 2.5 nm were measured under various pressures. The measured profiles are compared with the computer simulations of time dependences of selected energy level populations corresponding to the ion line emission in the spectral range.
