Transmutation Studies of Plutonium at JINR Dubna

Original language description

Plutonium isotopes reactions were studied using high-energy protons and spallation neutrons. Protons with energy of 660 MeV and average current of 20 nA were extracted from Phasotron Accelerator. Neutrons were produced in target-blanket system irradiatedby protons with average current of tens of pA and energies 0.7, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 GeV from Nuclotron Accelerator facility.

V SÚJV Dubna u Moskvy jsou studovány transmutační reakce izotopů plutonia 238 a 239. Jednalo se o experimenty se svazkem protonů 660 MeV či se sekundárními neutrony generovanými systémem terč-blanket.
