Structure and Texture of PVC Foils Investigated by Neutron Diffraction
Original language description
The contribution links to our precedent reports and presents the recent results achieved in investigation of poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) foils’ structural order by means of wide angle neutron diffraction (WAND) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) method. The deformation process leads to orientation of polymer main chains parallel with the foil plane. The tendency is more pronounced for the equally biaxially stretched sheets. The conclusion results from the analysis of “cumulative”inverted pole figures calculated from the collected WAND patterns.

Studium strukturních a texturních parametrů PVC folií pomocí neutronové difrakcee
Czech description
V příspěvku jsou uvedeny výsledky texturní analýzy PVC folií spolu s učením jejich krystaliniky. Experimenty byly provedeny neutronovou a rentgenovou difrakcí. Výsledky byly prezentovány vr formě inverzních pólových obrazců.
