In our work we use basic rate equations for Q-switched laser and the possibility to express their solution for fast-acting Q-switch analytically with the help of LambertW function. The results were verified by their comparing with numerical rate equations solution and with experiential data, obtained with Nd:YAG/V:YAG microchip laser.
