During the last 7 years, a large number of improvements in operation conditions were implemented. From a safety-related point of view, the most important are the upgrades of the instrumentation and control (I&C) system and the radiation monitoring system. Also, the core conversion from the HEU to LEU fuel took place. The upgrade of the I&C system began in 2001 and was completed at the end of 2007. Upgrade of the radiation monitoring system was carried out during 2004.
