    In the contribution I consider the problem of epitaxial crystal growth. This problem is described by a phase-field model based on the Burton-Cabrera-Frank theory. For numerical simulations I develop a numerical scheme based on the finite difference method. I investigate the influence of numerical parameters on the growth patterns. Finally, I present computational studies related to the pattern formation and to the dependence on model parameters.
