    This paper deals with an investigation of ceramic archaeological finds with the use of in-situ X-ray fluorescence analysis.Three systems for X-ray fluorescence analysis were constructed and used at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Many shards ofpostmediaeval pottery from Southern Moravia were analyzed and some results are described.
