    Implementation of the Schur Complement Method for the Stokes Problem

  • Original language description

    The aim of this article is to investigate the Schur complement method for parallel numerical solution of the two-dimensional Stokes problem. Parallel MPI implementation of the method is developed and tested on the lid driven cavity flow. The implementation relies on the LU decomposition and the unpreconditioned conjugate gradient method. Possible ways of improving the implementation are discussed.
