Analysis of Microstruture of the Totally Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process with Respect to Traffic Flow Modeling
Original language description
This article serves as a summary of results published in recent articles, and several newest results which will be published in the Proceedings of the conference SPMS 2011. The main goal of the articles is to investigate the characteristics of the TASEPmodel, used for describing the microstructure of the traffic flow, i.e., the distance- and time- headway distribution. Using the matrix product Ansatz the exact formula for distance-headway distribution far from and close to the boundary has been derived. By means of this result the exact formula for the time-headway distribution is obtained.
