Troubles with Protein Crystals in Experiment
Original language description
Protein crystallography is a complex and experimentally difficult part of science. In this study we show some experimental problems of studying protein crystals. Firstly we discuss growing crystals with the hanging drop method and mechanical fragility ofcrystals. Then we focus on vitrification of crystals and we describe some of belonging processes. Finally, we take a close-up view on diffraction experiment and problems caused by ionizing X-rays.
