Paper gives cross-sectional information about requirements engineering. It is discussed what the term requirement means and why it so important is to work with requirements in detail. The aim of the paper is also to mention benefits and study requirements engineering in software developing process. The main question is how to use requirements not only in initial phase of development but also in later phase, especially in project management. The aim is try to suggest how to improve some project management technique with results from requirements engineering phase. Is it possible to use requirements engineering metrics in project scheduling? The aim of the paper is to suggest using of some requirements metric in some project management method.
