Structure and Electric Transport in LaCo2/3Cu1/3O3
Original language description
The compound possessing the crystal structure LaCo2/3Cu1/3O3 of the rhombohedral perovskite type has been studied by means of the X-ray and neutron diffraction, magnetic and electric transport measurements. Four different regimes of the electric transport are identified in the course of temperature in the 3-1100 K range: (i) the variable range hopping at the lowest temperatures, (ii) a region of nearly constant thermopower and non-standard resistivity of power-law temperature dependence, followed by (iii) the resistivity and thermopower is of a conventional activated type known for classical hopping, and (iv) a gradual transition to a metallic-like transport at the highest temperatures.
