Nanocrystalline SrTiO3:Cr (0.1 mol.%) powders with an average particle size in the range from 5 to 35 nm were synthesized and studied by photoluminescence spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy in order to deeper understand the size effects in SrTiO3 nanoparticles.
