Original language description
This paper is focused on methods for data modeling, which are used for better understanding business reality including their advantages and disadvantages. Discussed methods are Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, Business Process Modeling Notation(BPMN), Integration DEFinition (IDEF) and also Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) method to allow an analysis and modeling of information systems from various aspects. The improve communication among analysts and furthermore between analysts and clients. The improvement of communication among analysts and between analysts and clients is the aim of our research. The selected software using these methods is also mentioned.
