Properties of hybrid dielectric-plasmonic slot waveguide structures have been numerically analyzed using our in-house 3D Fourier Modal Methods. Results confirm that these waveguides combine strong field confinement with moderate propagation lengths and represent thus very promising building blocks for plasmonic devices.
