Original language description
The paper is focused on current trends and challenges in nuclear education and training at research reactors. It has been shown that research reactors could play important role in nuclear education and training not only at national level, but as a key regional facility or as a member of a regional research reactor coalition at regional level also. An example of successful incorporation of a research reactor into regional or international level is Training reactor VR-1, a member of Eastern European Research Reactor Initiative (EERRI).
