Photoluminescence and infrared absorption spectra of aminated nanocrystalline diamond surface
Original language description
The commercially available protected gold on glass mirrors are coated by the nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) layers using the microwave based surface wave-discharge in linear antenna chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. The oxidized NCD surface is grafted by the wet amino-organosilane treatment. The presence of the amino groups on the NCD surface was tested by the photoluminescence spectroscopy in blue-green spectral region using fluorescamine reagent under UV excitation. The grazing angle reflectanceFourier transform infrared (GAR FTIR) spectroscopy in the mid infrared region detects with high sensitivity the characteristic molecular vibrations of the functional groups.
