  • Original language description

    The laser time transfer link is under construction for the European Space Agency for its application in the experiment Atomic Clock Ensemble in Space. We have developed and tested the photon counting detector optimized for operation in space for this project. In this paper are reported the main characteristics which changed after the irradiation by proton and gamma ionizing radiation. The resulting change of the detection delay with temperature is typically below 500 fs/K. The detector has been approvedfor application in the European Laser Timing experiment, the flight module is under manufacturing now.
