    Various targets with a complex geometry are used in the Inertial Fusion Energy (IFE) related experiments. For its numerical modeling, selected physical model has to be able to handle wide range of plasma parameters for both density and temperature. Recently, hydrodynamical simulations are the main tools for evaluation of experimental results and improvement of the target design. For the purpose, numerical code PALE is being developed in the Department of Physical Electronics of the Czech Technical University. Related physical model and corresponding approach for its numerical solution is introduced in the first part of the paper. The second part presents numerical simulation of selected laser-mater interaction experiment performed at the PALS laboratory.
