Pontryagin?s maximum principle, with its origin in theoretical mechanics, is well known tool for optimizing controlled differential equations. One can find stochastic analogy of this principle when solving stochastic control problems. We will formulate stochastic maximum principle and present application when controlling stochastic growth of tumor cells.
