Numerical Simulation of NAPL Vapor Transport in Soil
Original language description
This paper deals with the simulation of NAPL vapor transport driven by gas flow in porous medium. The mathematical model describing this phenomenon combines mass balance equations with the Darcy law and the ideal gas equation of state. In order to solvethe governing equations, a numerical scheme based on the finite volume method is derived. Finally, some of our numerical results computed by this scheme are presented.
