Original language description
In the paper the two competitive deposition technologies are compared: the HVOF thermal spraying and laser cladding. The microstructure, mechanical and wear properties of HVOF sprayed and laser cladded Stellite 6 coatings are the main subject of comparison, enriched by analyses of phase composition and residual stresses and accompanied by the discussion concerning the economical aspects of both technologies.
