Evolving Dislocations under Total Strain Control Regime
Original language description
We study the evolution and mutual force interaction of two distinct dislocations in the channel of the persistent slip band, and under the total strain controlled loading condition. In our investigation, we focus on estimation of the endurance limit, i.e., on the value of the applied stress needed for dislocations to escape each other. Our description of the model is based on the parametric method, and for the numerical solution, the semi-implicit flowing finite volume method is used.
