The latest star results on quarkonium production
Original language description
We report the latest results of J (2S) and ? production in the dielectron decay channel at mid-rapidity from the STAR experiment. We present J cross section measurements in p + p collisions at ps 200 and 500 GeV, as well as the first measurement of the (2S) to J ratio at ps 500 GeV. We also show J and ? production in heavy ion collisions: J nuclear modification factors (RAA) in Au+Au collisions at psNN 200, 62.4 and 39 GeV and in U+U collisions at psNN 193 GeV, ? RAA in d+Au, Au+Au and U+U collisions atpsNN 200, 200 and 193 GeV, respectively. The results are compared to different model calculations.
