Study of Pu sorption behaviour in natural clay
Original language description
Kinetics of Pu(IV)sorption on clays was studied under conditions similar to thouse expected at the waste repository. Batch sorption, sequential extraction and modeling were applied. The composition of clay coatings were investigated using the Moessbauerspectroscopy and X-Ray diffraction. The largest portion of Pu wa associated with exchangble and carbonate fractions of clay used.
