    2D Full-Core VVER-1000 Calculation in Serpent

  • Original language description

    This contribution deals with the topic of 2D full-core calculation of VVER-1000 core on Nuclear Power Plant Temelin. It is the first core with TVEL TVSA-T fuel, thus it offers a unique possibility to conduct a full-core calculation with fresh fuel. This calculation was proposed by. SKODA JS as a benchmark for deterministic codes. The reference Monte-Carlo solution was obtained by MCNP code. It was decided to use alternative Monte-Carlo code Serpent with recent and older evaluated nuclear data and compare the results. Set up of the calculation and calculation of radial reflectors will be described.
