    Paper provides considerations for utilization of DD generator tube at VR-1 reactor facility. It gives applicable approaches to modelling the DD reaction as a source of neutrons. Further, it provides modelling of neutron field parameters around such source in bare geometry, moderated geometry and in geometry, where the DD tube would be used in radial channel of zero power VR-1 reactor.
