Non-stoichiometric tertiary garnet Tm,Ho:GGAGwas investigated as an active medium in diode pumped laser, tunable using birefringent filter. The laser tuning range extended from 2006nm up to 2122 nm. The output energy of 3.2 mJ at 2089 nm was obtained for the absorbed energy 50 mJ.
