New approaches in localization of acoustic emission sources
Original language description
Our approach on acoustic emission localization is based on numerical computations of precise geodesic curves on surfaces composed from parametrized surfaces with intersections. We compute our geodesics numerically by Finite Difference, Newton–Raphson, and Fixed Point Iteration methods. We also consider the case when the surface contains the holes, i.e. the exact geodesic curve has to bypass a given obstacles. These techniques are used in real experiment on the galvanized steel watering can and the results of AE localization geodetic principle are tabulated.
