Original language description
Presiach-Mayergoyz model of hysteresis can be used to characterize the nonlinear mechanical properties of hysteretic materials. PM model can be expressed as a weighted combination of relay operators (hysterons). The elasticity or damage indexes of specific hysteretic materials can be evaluated by means of identification of the probability (mixture) density of hysterons in PM space through numerical optimization algorithm. A modification of stochastic Simulated Annealing algorithm was proposed to identify the distribution of hysterons in PM space.
