Fe2+ ions oscillations in the Zn1-xMnxSe:Fe2+,Cr2+ (x = 0.3) crystal in the wavelength range of 4.4–4.65um was achieved under pumping by a commercial 1.94um Tm fiber laser through Cr2+ -> Fe2+ energy transfer. The laser active crystal was placed in the cryostat and the cavity was formed by a curved dichroic pumping mirror and a curved output coupler.
