4.19 μm Fe2+ Ions Lasing in Zn1-xMnxSe:Cr2+,Fe2+ (x = 0.05) Single Crystal under 1.71 μm Laser Diode Pumping via Cr2+ -> Fe2+ Ions Energy Transfer
Original language description
Laser-diode (~1.71 μm) pumped Zn1-xMnxSe:Cr2+,Fe2+ (x=0.05) crystal through Cr2+->Fe2+ energy-transfer resulting in ~4.19 μm lasing within temperature range of 78–110 K is presented. Maximum mean laser output power was 4.1 mW and slope-efficiency was 2.3%.
