New praseodymium-doped lutetium sesqui-sulfide single crystal Pr:Lu2S3 was grown by micro-pulling-down technique. The highest-energy peak in Raman spectrum corresponds to 312 cm-1. The excitation and fluorescence spectra up to 6 μm are presented.
