  • Original language description

    We designed, developed and characterized optical parametrical oscillator with periodically poled nonlinear crystal PPLN for picosecond pulse generation in 1.5 μm region. We achieved tunability between 1482 and 1612 nm using different poling periods of the PPLN crystal and temperature tuning with maximum mean output power of 1.7 W. By changing the cavity length, we achieved pulse shortening from 14 down to 7 ps. Idler wave was also generated between 3.14 and 3.77 μm with mean power of 200 mW.
