Spectral and Laser Properties of Cr2+ and Fe2+ Doped and Cr2+,Fe2+ Co-doped Chalcogenide Host Materials
Original language description
We report review of mid-IR lasing in the range of ~2.1-6.05 μm from Cr2+-, Fe2+-, and Cr2+,Fe2+-doped II-VI chalcogenides. Detailed comparison of the spectroscopic and laser properties of various laser materials enabling efficient mid-IR lasing is presented.
