Design of glass structures
Original language description
Glass as a material is concerned to be attractive, useful and occasionally termed as ?sustainable? and ?ecological?. Rendered in all of its applications, shapes, colours and textures, it becomes one of the most widely used materials for consumer productsand construction alike. Obviously no other material is as widely used as the glass that surrounds us at home, at work, in the streets, when fulfilling our basic human needs, watch the inner and outer world through the glass windows and walls. Could we drink from concrete glasses, looking through the metal windows as well as through the transparent ones? In the context of sustainability, reducing costs and environment impacts the long-term issue is solving by the scientists, producers and architects answering the question how the glass product innovations will lead to the fulfilment of the above-mentioned ideas.
