    Stempel-Tesař-Šlapal: family houses

  • Original language description

The work of architects Ján Stempel and Jan Jakub Tesař has become synonymous with quality inherent in pure forms and carefully elaborated floorplans. The book presents more than twenty family houses through photographs of well-known architect Filip Šlapal. They are displayed not only in exteriors and interiors, but we also see how they are integrated into the place or surrounding nature. Everyone has a story, everyone is an original. According to Petr Volf, author of the opening essay, the houses of these architects are materialized portraits of their investors.
