The sensory disorders are one of the main symptoms of the neuropathy. Estimation of the level of the Neuropathic disease is main target of the comprehensive examination method "Quantitative sensory testing". One part of this group of tests is Quantitative estimation of thermal thresholds. This method is based on the special device called "Thermo-electric Stimulator" based on the Peltier thermobattery. The main aim of this paper is to describe design and develop of this kind of device and accomplish somefunctional tests with that device. Values acquired from this testing are important for comparison with values acquired from the relevant studies. Reference group of twenty probands was investigated via the above mentioned basic configuration of the thermo-electric stimulator. Results of this investigation were compared with Dr. R. Czech description

Porucha senzorického čití je jedním z hlavních příznaků někdy ještě jinak nedemonstrované polyneuropatie. Vyšetřením a stanovením stupně postižení se zabývá metoda Kvantitativního senzorického testování (Quantitative Sensory Testing - QST). Podjednotkoutéto komplexní sady vyšetření je vyšetření citlivosti na teplotní vjem. To se provádí pomocí speciálního přístroje tzv. termostimulátoru (TES). Cílem je návrh a realizace takovéhoto přístroje, jeho funkční testování a porovnání hodnot získaných vyšetřením skupiny 20 zdravých dobrovolníků s hodnotami uvedenými v literatuře. Návrh se zabývá pouze částmi nezbytnými pro správné a úplné provedení vyšetření dle návodů a instrukcí uváděných v literatuře zabývající se touto tématikou. Naměřené hodnoty se shodují s hodnotami uvedenými v literatuře avšak pouze v obecných předpokladech, jelikož literatura žádné přesné hodnoty jednotlivých parametrů neuvádí. Dále byly uvedeny i návrhy možných rozšíření TES z hlediska automatizace procedury.
