    Doped biocompatible layers prepared by laser

  • Original language description

    Attention is paid to the laser synthesis and study of thin films of doped biocompatible materials with focus on diamond- like carbon (DLC) and hydroxyapatite (HA). Overview of materials used for dopation is given. Also experimental results reached duringthe study of HA layers doped with silver will be presented. Layers were created using KrF excimer laser ablation. Doped films were studied using mechanical profilometer, optical transmission, contact angle, XRD, SEM and WDX measurements. Results of themeasurement of antibacterial properties of HA layers and HA layers doped with silver will be also given.
