Motion Capture of Patients with Neurological Disorders by HD Digital Cameras
Original language description
Neurological diseases are often exhibited by movement or attitude disorders. These disorders could be recorded and processed by computer. A two or more cameras contactless system is used for capturing 3-dimensional motion of the patients. A high definition (HD) digital camera system was developed for the analysis of the movement of patients with Parkinson's disease and the head posture measurement of patients with neurological disorders. Properties and accuracy of the HD camera system were compared withprofessional motion capture system LUKOTRONIC. The comparison was based on the deviation of the captured corresponding points.
