Burnout Syndrome in the Nursing Profession in Context of Using of Intrumentation in Health Services
Original language description
This paper is aimed at burnout syndrome of nurses from the ward of internal medicine and surgery of regional hospital Kladno, and potential risk factors leading to that syndrome. On the basis of these factors we worked out hypothesis concerning recognition of a relationship amond burnout and using of instrumentation in health service, length of employment, number of nurse jobs, ward, clinical branch and rate of meeting their employment expectations. We also focused on some risk factors which negativelyaffect the work of a nurse and can influence burnout genesis and its progress. For our research we used a modification of the Eysenck Personage questionnaire, a questionnaire diagnosing burnout and our own questionnaire surveying potential risk factors of burnout and collecting resppondent demographic data. For analysis more important risk factors of burnout syndrome we use Pareto chart.
