Comparison of Methods of Measurement of Head Position in Neurological Practice
Original language description
In this paper we describe advanced methods for the precise posture head measurement and explain our method of non-invasive head position measurements by cameras and accelerometers. The methods are designed for use in neurology to discover relationships between some neurological disorders (such as disorders of vestibular system) and postural head alignment. The goal of this study is to compare possibilities of the methods. The results are presented for rotation and flexion of head. It was experimentallychecked that the accuracy of this method satisfies the general requirement for the accuracy of the measurement about 1-2°.
