Optical properties of laser created LiNbO3 and Er,Yb doped LiNbO3 layers
Original language description
LiNbO3 films were created from monocrystalline or sintered LiNbO3 targets using laser ablation. SiO2/Si and sapphire were used as substrates. Sintered target was prepared by "sol- gel" method. Polycrystalline films and c- axis oriented films were prepared at substrate temperatures 650 - 750°C. The influence of targets and deposition conditions on film crystallinity (XRD), surface morphology (SEM), optical properties (UV-VIS spectrometer), luminescence, is studied. Optical properties of LiNbO3 are compared with films created by PLD from Er,Yb doped LiNbO3 sintered target.
