Artificial intelligence in gait analysis: review
Original language description
It is more than 20 years when gait analysis studies begun to take advantage of non-traditional analysis methods. This paper discuss two important, practical end-goals in gait analysis - prediction and classification utilizing methods of artificial intelligence. Although, much research has concentrated on these tasks through the applications of artificial neural networks, the fuzzy inference systems proved to have great results too. The review concludes with critical remarks and gait analysis challenges.
