Use of Malyugin Pupil Expansion Ring in Femtosecond Laser-assisted Cataract Surgery
Original language description
To describe a technique that allows performing femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery with the LenSx laser (Alcon) in patients with poor or non dilating small pupils. Use of the Malyugin ring is a reliable and stable method of maintaining an adequate surgical pupil diameter both for femtosecond laser assisted capsulotomy and lens fragmentation with Lenx laser and subsequent phacoemulsification and IOL implantation.
