3D Printed Multi-layer Molds of Human Head Tissue Phantoms for Microwave Stroke Detection
Original language description
This work presents the design of 3D molds of human head tissues for multi-layer phantoms manufacturing. Molds are used to produce phantoms of human head tissues which are skin, bone, cerebrospinal fluid, and brain. Molds were designed based on MRI-derived scans and printed on 3D printer. With 3D printing, several different shapes and sizes of head forms can be created to produce head phantoms.
