Original language description
The aim of this paper is to present an IMU system for fast recording and analysis of weapon and shooter body segment acceleration (up to 3 kHz). Algorithms for evaluating shooter motion are proposed as part of a system that can later be used in marksmanship training. The device offers on-line and off-line data inputs and outputs enabling the evaluation of the effect of recoil on shooting in real time and retrospectively from the recording. The software allows motion analysis methods to evaluate the behaviour of the shooter and the weapon during the shot. The software enables measurement and processing of movement data during shooting from a real weapon as well as from a weapon model.
