Reliability Analysis of a Reinforced Concrete Slab Designed According to the Current Standards
Original language description
Reliability of a continuous reinforced concrete slab designed in accordance with normative documents ČSN, recently introduced ČSN P ENV and European standards ENV is verified for both the ultimate limit states and the limit states of deformation. The reliability index is mostly sufficient with regards to the load-bearing capacity and deflection of the slab. However, an incidental change of the properties of basic variables may increase the probability of failure. It is shown that credibility of the design value of deflection assessed according to the standard rules is low, i.e. the probability of its overcrossing is high.
